I live in Mexico now with my mom trying to sell this house and move back to Texas...but alas now we have this coronavirus scare that’s slows us down further. All I have is Amazon here...or had...since in response of the Coronavirus they sent me an email saying they will temporarily not do international orders. I was starting my Legacy Editions collection, so far I got “From Elvis In Memphis/Back In Memphis” and “Live-Via Sattilite” I was planning to get when I could the Legacy Edition of Elvis’ first 2 albums. But now it says it’s “Currently Unavailabie”. I spoke to an Amazon representative on my iPad and he said, “it is not out of print, just temporarily unavailable because we want to wait for this pandemic to be over.” I keep up with the availablility of these CDs at many artists spand before the pandemic most of them were pretty much available but when it happened all of sudden it was either “currently unavailable” or only available through “3rd party sellers”. I understand most if not all the US is on lockdown. So I understand that. I’m just waiting it to be over. I know this is trivial but I’m just just trying to simplify things now. If I can just have the Legacy Editions of his first 2 albums. I can be happy with that collection of the 3 “Legacy Editions albums I have.
The Legacy edition of the first two albums gives you just the masters of the original 24 songs plus the singles.
My advice is, get the respective FTD editions and you will have everything, including all the surviving alternate takes, and even a previously unknown 1956 interview and the last Hayride concert.
Don't think twice.
