There were never anything like those Sun sides ever recorded again.

Pure magic!

There was actually.

He recorded another 4 singles over the next year with Sun.
You should look them up.

Good rockin' tonight---the R & B side
I don't care if the sun don't shine---the countryish side.

Baby Let's play house---The rocker
Your're a heartbreaker ---The country side.

Mystery train---The R & B side
I forgot to remember -----The country side.

and so on....they had a pattern Sam followed.

And the R & B or Rocker type song, was always the better seller or more popular.

He was known as the Hillybilly Cat, cause he wore cat clothes, in which whites at that time normally didn't do.
Ironically he recorded a song not too much later called "hound dog", while wearing cat clothes.
Then he recorded a song called "old shep" while wear cat clothes again.
Not sure what he was wearing while he recorded "a Dog life". But that session was a Cat-astophy.

I think you've misread my post. I said "those Sun sides" - meaning, all of them.

I think he was wearing dog clothes when he recorded "Old Shep". :)
