Whiffenpoof song

The original version was recorded on 11-08-37 by Rudy Vallee & his Connecticut Yankees (Bluebird 7135 / Victor 27843).

For the 'The Trouble With Girls' soundtrack, they only needed very short versions of songs like this & 'Violet'.

It's a shame that he didn't do full-length versions when he was in the recording studio !

I think the short versions are more than enough.

Jimmy Featherstone gets inducted in the Great Names Hall Of Fame, together with Scrappy Lambert and Chauncey Olcott.
