Until it's time for you to go

The original version was recorded in april 1965 by Buffy Sainte Marie for an album. (LP Vanguard 9171). In april 1965 she recorded a different single version too (Vanguard 35028).
In 1970 she re-recorded the LP version again and this version can often be found on original CD's.

Although Buffy Sainte-Marie liked Elvis & was thrilled that he recorded her song, she had reservations about his treatment of it:
