The complete show from 1959 recorded in Sweden featuring Cadence finest stars (Andy Williams, The Chordettes and of course The Everlys) Co-hosted by Archie Bleyer who by the way handles himself very well in the Swedish language !

Brilliant. Old Andy sung a couple of songs that Elvis recorded. Now can you imagine Elvis in the Andy role there? He was never as middle of the road as that, was he?

There's something unusual I picked up re. Phil and Don Everly. At 23:00 while the Chordettes are singing their number, they are seated and signing autographs lefthanded, yet both play guitar , righthanded ? You are left to wonder how often are siblings can be both lefties but play guitar righthanded.

Paul Burlison, of The Johnny Burnette Trio, was also lefthanded, and played guitar righthanded.

Usually, lefthanded people are more versatile in this respect. Righthanded people tend to be more centered around one hand only.
