Funny moment during the first "Singing Tree" session before take 9 -

Of course Priscilla is pregnant at the time and Millie Kirkham says something that Elvis didn't quite catch and the Jordanaires laugh.

Elvis asks "what'd she say?"

Millie says: "It's going to be the only kid in the world with a solid gold stroller."

Elvis laughs - loud! And then he says: "with a t.v. set on his stroller. I'm gonna get a custom made stroller for my baby...with a little portable t.v. on it."

Hilarious!

My first CD -played was disc 3 to hear Hi heel Sneakers. Sadly my portable disc writer chord is missing so I'm struggling to find time to listen to all of it.

Does anyone have a full list of songs and dialogues that have been edited? Already read on here that Goin' home and the Prisoner's song have been edited. Anything else?

Hello btw, I'm new here! :D But some of you may know me from another Elvis forum.

Welcome Vinkelvis. I think in the fullness of time we should have a list of edited dialogue. It takes a lot of listening and comparison.

I’ve been on the fence about buying this. I hate to admit it but I think I’m burned out. Still love the music but my enthusiasm for hearing multiple takes and stuff has dissipated. I guess I’m just getting old.

I agree with this (above) to some extent. For me, it depends on the song/sessions/etc. It kind of gets old hearing Hodge's (and other sycophants') excessively loud/groveling/appeasing laughter. However, if Elvis is going at it seriously, then I love it ..... but, if things are decaying in to shenanigans, then I no longer have the same level of interest in it.

Ernst take note; New album title....."Elvis decaying into shenanigans".

I would buy it.
