Some things you might be better off not knowing about.

Say you had a silent, hidden defect which was going to suddenly see you off at age 50.

Your life over those years might be blighted by knowing that fact.

Yes, simply look at what the last Labour government achieved !

Congratulations Colin.

I'm not completely surprised Labour has won. I didn't vote Tory this time only because it was obvious they would not get back in. I considered Labour, and watched Starmer's performances on TV and was not impressed. He has the personality of a sponge, and even less to say. However, it is what it is.

Is that an iceberg I see before me?

Thanks !

It's not good practice to vote for the party with a leader who comes across as 'charismatic'.

Better to look at the policies being presented & the record of a parties achievements when last in government.

However, I reckon that it's a case of the Tories losing this election, rather than Labour winning it !

What is surprising is that anybody could have voted for the Conservatives this time after their record over the last few years...

... & yet some still did...

Some did, possibly because they believe things would be better with Rishi. He can't be blamed for all that went before him, and he seemed to be doing a good job, but there was too much stacked against him.

I hope that what Starmer says about the party realising that they are public servants, happens. There are too many people in politics feeding their fat faces by thieving from us, the public.

I don't like Starmer, I do think he has been evasive, but he's in, and I'll give him a chance.

He's had to trim his leftish intentions down a tad [or more] to appeal to disgruntled Tory voters in order to get elected.

Now he's in, I 'm expecting some moves to the left, maybe not immediately, but in time...

So are you saying that's not a good thing?
