For Sunday dinner, Dad stood at the end of the table carving the meat & putting it on the plates.
I don't remember, but one of my older sisters tells that mum, knowing my aversion to meat, would take some from my plate & put on others,
when his attention was elsewhere !
Moved your meat every Sunday? Surely he must have seen, but turned a blind eye.
