Care to explain?
alberta sheffield wrote:Quit the snarky and condescending attitude, "man". And the belitteling one too (try, for once , to reflect how your words come across).
I asked because I didn't understood what you meant with your previous 2 posts towards me.

Although owning it.(read your posting that way that it was edited out too on the original FTD release too).when the complete "When It Rains It Pours" Elvis Sun session was released for the first time on "A Boy From Tupelo" (FTD, 2012) we were told that a bit of studio dialogue had been edited out
But I can understand why they left it out on a mainstream release some years ago.
Just one fuxxing journalist is all it needs to open a can of worms with that.
I understand why they left it out in these times.
Not that I was bothered with this remark when I read it somewhere.
It wasn't to be released in 1955 and it were different times.
What a mess, sorry. We were talking about two different things.
Don't be sorry for being rude.
You are entitled to it if you wish so.
Nah, not rude at all.
Racists are rude, no doubt.
"Nigger" is just a word.

What a sad waste of time.

Thank you.

Nearly three years on we now know that Elvis was a disgusting individual using offensive and racist language all the time. How I ever became a fan, I don't know. Not only did he destroy the morals of young people, particularly the girls, who wet their pants and no doubt wrecked theatre seats, but he used the words shit, and.....dare I say it, it might shock some of the older generation (that's me and Colin), fuck. You can't get lower than that.
We didn't know how gross Elvis was, and so I thank. from the bottom of my heart, Ernst and his team for being such caring people, and protecting us by censoring the language of that revolting hillbilly. My sensitive ears really do not need to hear that kind of language from that has been pop singer.
Cliff would never stoop so low.
