Has any of you folks heard that bit, and could you share what that bit is all about ?
You can answer via PM if you wish.
Colin will possibly send you a big fat check. Thanks.

No, it wasn't included.

Right. Tulsa probably refers to the "too much vaseline" dialogue, originally placed before the incomplete alternate take of "I'll Never Let You Go (Little Darlin')". This was indeed made originally available via the "Good Rockin' Tonight" Bopcat albums (the VVAA original and the all-Elvis reissue), and later via several official releases including FTDs "A Boy From Tupelo".
Nobody seemed to have noticed, or care about, the "goddamn nigger" bit until the Legacy reissue of ABFT, where they left it out.
Absolutely laughable.

I think that what is what was offensive and edited out.
And that was imo also left out in the FTD version of "A boy from Tupelo", right?

But I can understand why they left it out on a mainstream release some years ago.
Just one fuxxing journalist is all it needs to open a can of worms with that.
I understand why they left it out in these times.
Not that I was bothered with this remark when I read it somewhere.
It wasn't to be released in 1955 and it were different times.

What a mess, sorry. We were talking about two different things.

Don't be sorry for being rude.
You are entitled to it if you wish so.
