And the anniversary is just a few weeks away...
Nobody took any photos ?
yeah, I thought about that too.
You would think that someone Elvis knew, had a kodak brownie camera,
and what an event for him this would be.
Not one single photo has surfaced?
very strange. in the 1950's people took pictures of everything.
There's a couple of backstage photos from that day :

Yes, I have seen those. But not one stage pic in all these years from that day? very strange.
And Ernst couldn't find one for his book either. One person had to have taken a photo of this sensation that
was getting encores.....
No one knew he would get that reaction and no one really knew who he was I doubt anyone took his picture. I dont think there are any pictures at all from this concert.
I think people did know who he was, since the phones lite up when they played the record weeks earlier, and many people that first
month bought that record. and I would guess a picture will one day turn up.
Yeah youre right, its only been 66 years now, should see a whole bunch real soon. Those phones were blazing.
reg, you're so pessimistic, but I'll let you in on a secret:
I've seen a couple of pictures of Elvis on stage at his first show at The Shell , granted they're not good quality, but it's certainly him.
