Thanks. I suspect the recordings will be no better than what we already have, but I'd love to be wrong.

My mind hasn't been changed.
I don't need, or want these books to get the audio I'd like, I can wait.

I don't want the books either. They try and get you by the short and curlies. Smacks of Tom Parker and his lowdown practices.

I'm sure the audio will become available eventually, one way or the other.
I can wait..... and I look forward to reading the honest reviews first.

By my own set of rules, I generally don't want any book that has pictures
of an event that was filmed or videotaped.

I want the moving pictures, not the still pictures.

That's my general rule.

I think the message should become clear to those involved in this production.

Many of us do not want the books and therefore are not going to buy this release. We are happy to wait for the audio, which may or may not be better than what we already have. There appear to be a few unreleased tracks, but how many, who knows, and actually if they are a variation of all the stuff we already have, who cares?

One thing is guaranteed, these will all become available either as physical bootlegs, at a price, and no doubt very nicely packaged, or free downloads, in no time at all.

I don't care whether they cost £50, or £200, or anywhere in between, I'm not buying some dumb books containing hundreds of photos we've either already got, or seen before, or just don't care to have.

FTD are taking the piss, as are all the others involved in this.

The only way I'll buy this, CDs only, all in as good quality as possible, and uncensored. No books, thank you very much! Otherwise my money goes to the bootleggers, or I'll wait for the FREE download. As sure as eggs are eggs, there will be a FREE download.

Naturally there will be those who will buy it, and maybe even buy two copies, one of which will remain sealed. Hmmm.

I hope so because that's really all I want also.

the date that intrigues me is the july 15th rehearsal.
This is the date that had the tapes in which Elvis' vocals were buried, but
they had a second mic to capture his vocals and that was how they
created the track for "Ghost riders in the sky".
Elvis vocals are buried on the piano songs, and hopefully that all gets fixed.
