The Sun Years came out not long after Elvis' death. It's a compilation of news reports and snippets, but it also had a teaser of 'My Baby's Gone' long before it was legally available.

The Elvis Tapes is pretty much what it says it is,
the Canadian press conference.
If I remember correctly there are snippets of a couple of live tracks from Vancouver, but they're of poor quality.

I actually bought this when it came out. It was the first time I'd heard the "My Baby's Gone" teaser. It was also the first time I'd heard the slow version of "Blue Moon Of Kentucky" before i discovered the "Rockin' Rebel" album.

I believe this album was put together by Shelby Singleton to cash in on Elvis' death. It quickly disappeared when RCA got wind of it because he was using snippets of songs they owned. The B side of the album was a rather bizarre affair that had nothing to do with Sun years.

I don't even have the LP anymore. But i do remember being mesmerized by the Sun snippets.
she's well acquainted with a touch of the velvet hand, like a lizard on a window pane

Still got my copy, I just can't part with it, regardless.
It was also where I first heard those unreleased SUN snippets too.

LP Rockin' Rebel

The LP was released in 1978 on Gold Archives GA-250 with fold-out cover.

The information in the bootleg book (entry 761) is incomplete.
Addition:
King Creole = track E take 18 with echo

As long as I have you = track N take 8 with echo
