That's a funny video, Mountain Mist !

But sneezing isn't a symptom of Coronavirus !

These are:

Dry cough.

High temperature.

Difficulty breathing.

At the moment, my family & I are free from these...

You're going to get told off Colin. You can't attach any humour to this situation.

In the meantime I have been sent a screen grab and see that Maggie has removed her name from the thread which makes the rest of the posters look even more foolish.

Haha. Oh she still works there, just not showing her head above the parapet. She's actually a very nice person, but I'm not going to tell her.

Great track. This is when I became a Rod Stewart fan.

It's business as usual for me and most of my mates. I don't know anyone who has it.

The point is you or anyone can have it without knowing, and you'll be spreading it around putting lives at risk.
Business as usual isn't good, social distancing is now for EVERYONE.

I've cut out the cafe breakfast.

Still pop to the supermarket for food.

Hard decisions about what to buy when so many shelves are empty !

They have special opening times for 'the elderly only' - which is odd since were not supposed to venture out for 4 weeks or so [or 12].

Had a look at Tesco Online where stuff can be ordered for home delivery.

For 'small' orders, there's a £4 surcharge.

For them 'small' is anything under £40 !

My shopping never approaches anything like that !

Social distancing is about minimising your risk, whatever your age or condition, but sadly some just don't get it.
I'm sure they'll change their mind once it does affect them, or someone they know.

But my point is that I privately rent and also have gas and electric to pay for, before I have any food in the house. I pay for 3 - soon to be 4 - people to live and eat, and my girlfriend has been told she is not needed at work so she has no money coming in. Am I meant to sit at home or continue working and providing for them and me?

That is spot on. The guidelines are very clear.

It's 12 weeks Colin, not 4.

You do what you have to do..., BUT... you implement social distancing to minimise not only your own risk but that to others.
Social distancing is NOT staying at home, and it's not business as usual either due you and your mates because you don't know anyone who has it, as you initially indicated.
It's likely that if the public don't take the government advice that they will implement emergency powers to make people stay home.
By doing as we've already been asked you can help avoid that, hopefully.
