He posts a still of a recording log from the Flaming star sessions
and the notes states that "he is doing a completely different song solo".
Then the line is drawn down to bottom and stating that he sang, "Many a tear has to fall but it's all in the game" .
This is the hit from the time by Tommy Edwards.
I would think that Ernst is saving this for the next anniversary box set.

I would think it's just a line. It's mentioned on Keith's site.

There is a difference here though.
Elvis has done one liners in many many sessions over his career but not any of them
are mentioned by title on the session notes.
If it were just a one liner, they wouldn't say, "he solo's on a completely different song between takes".
it's a two verse song anyway, very short, so perhaps he does the whole thing.
During these same Flaming star sessions he is heard singing "lonely man", but that isn't mentioned in the session log.
Something to think about.

I love that song its a classic. But Ernst has already put this out. I have the Flaming Star FTD and it is on there. It is track 18. It's just a little bit of the song, and I think some of Lonely Man too. Anyone else have this FTD? On the box the entire note says
many a tear la la la
but its all in the game, R+B
song - probably from '60 -
alone in background
by musicians
I also love Flaming Star its one of the best movie songs I think. I was surprised when I learned it was a top 20 hit in 1961. So I guess a lot of people liked it.

You can only barely hear a whisper of a few words, where the notes indicate something more.

I've checked the FTD Flaming Star CD, but I can't hear the All in the Game snippet, either !
