Now I'm being serious.

Many years ago, I stood in front of Elvis' "Viva Las Vegas" yellow jacket, about three feet away from the item.

It was such a strikingly small and ragged piece of clothing.

An awful, bizarre, little experience, to be truthful.

Yes, no good at all. It looked like it was a 100 years old item. The colour was terribly faded too.

Really, I saw a pic of that yellow jacket and it was fine.
But maybe the pic was old. And maybe they made more than just one jacket for the movie. Not unusual for movie productions.
So you think it wasn't as good stored like his almighty jumpsuits?
Cause I saw a 50s shirt in a hard rock cafe that looked like new ( hopefully it wasn't).

Since not even 50s original sun records are on display as supposedly elvis's personal copy.....its hard for me to believe nowadays anything as genuine.

Was that the jacket President (Jorge) of Elvis Presley Fan Club in Barcelona had in his collection? ;).

Could be, I really don't know.

I saw it maybe 25 years ago at a general record fair in Montjuïc. It was displayed at the very entrance to the hall, and it was hard not to see it.

Thanks!. This guy (Jorge) is no longer the President of the Elvis Presley Fan Club in Barcelona (now called Elvis Presley Fan Clun Spain). Do you know if he´s still involved in the Elvis world?. I met him once in the 90´s and went to his Record shop in Badalona, he had 100´s of Elvis records for sale! 8-).

I've been to that record shop a few times, and they indeed had some cool stuff, but from what I've heard it closed doors a few years ago. I knew the guy from seeing him at shop and at some fan club conventions in the late 80s, but nothing else. I was never a member of the club.

All this talk of Barcelona... I will be in Barcelona from September 24th to October 2nd.
If any Elvis fans want to meet drop me a PM!

The book looks great and the demos look very interesting.

Thanks!. Neither me, I haven´t been part of an Elvis Fan Club for the last 25 years!. I was just being curious, this guy (Jorge) seemed to be wealthy but then suddenly dissapeared from the Elvis scene....

I thought the so called experts on the other forum claimed this is a fake. So did David English make a mistake?
