Elvis sang an one-liner of this song during his August 30, 1973 midnight show in Las Vegas.

The original version (?) was recorded on 00-00-31 by George Scott Wood & his Band with vocal Maurice Elwin (Parlophone nr ???).
Other recordings in 1931:
00-00-31 - Jack Payne & his BBC Dance Orchestra with vocal Val Rosing (UK - Columbia GB 242);
24-03-31 - Ray Noble & New Mayfair Dance Orchestra with vocal Al Bowlly (HMV B 5999) & London Mayfair Orchestra with vocal Al Bowlly (Victor 22774 / Victor 24499 / RCA 20-3302);
25-03-31 - Roy Fox & his Band with vocal Al Bowlly (UK Decca F 2279);
10-04-31 - Bert Firman's Rhythmic Eight with vocal Maurice Elwin (Zonophone nr ???).

"Lady of Spain, I adore you.
Lift up your skirt to explore you !"
