June 15th, 1961? That can't be right: In June 1961 Elvis had just finished filming "Blue Hawaii". The filming of "Wild In The Country" ended in January 1961 (probably on the 17th). If it's the wrap up party, then the pictures should probably be dated so. But I've also seen these photos in the context of "November 1960" and during a "recording session" - although it's definitely not a recording studio (looks more like a rehearsal room or even a film set to me - they even rolled up the carpet). Nancy Sharp (Elvis' short-time sweetness at the time) and Philip Dunne, the film's director, and an older couple can be seen dancing - but no actors from the movie, which one would expected at a wrap party.
