Well, not yet....Give another clue....that guy looks familiar, but I can't seem to remember him.

After the reveal I am positive I have seen the photo before.

Here's a few more guesses. Wardrobe test shot for Love me tender?

or Backstage at Ed Sullivan show?

OK - another clue:

Whilst I have no idea who the old boy is, the way Elvis is dressed nails this down to a definite date & event.

Ed Sullivan show is in the right ballpark !

OK - another clue:

the only even I can think of around the time of Ed Sullivan show is the Polio vaccine event late October.

Yes !

28th October 1956 - with poster - 001.jpg


On the 28th October, 1956, he had a busy day with the polio jab & then his 2nd Ed Sullivan appearance.

Around the time of the jab, he posed with a few celebs, including this old guy !

As it turns out, "Samedi-Dimanche" was a weekly newspaper published in Montreal, devoted to the world of entertainment.

This clipping is from the Saturday, November 3, 1956 issue, where we can see the names of the publishing team.

Any bets for Mr. Edward G. Rowe ?
