Good one.

He looks familiar, and I tend to go with Colin's suggestion.

or Larry Domasin, born in Los Angeles. I didn't know that he'd been in a number of films, not that I've seen any of them. He doesn't seem to have done anything since 1978.

He was at Graceland a couple of years ago as a guest.
He was interviewed on Elvis Radio.

The little kid in Fun in Acapulco was Mexican & this is he !

The quiz was solved in double-quick time, & I sure did 'get it' !

The question was "who is this?" The answer was Larry Domasin. You could then have expanded it by saying what you did. Had the question been what role did this man play in an Elvis movie, your answer would have been correct. However, very obviously the photo is of a grown man, not a child, so, you did not answer the question. If you'd given that answer in a pub quiz, you would not have got the point.

Here's an example.

Who is this?

Footballer.jpg

Of course the answer is George Best. However, would you really have expected to be correct by saying it's a footballer who used to play for Manchester United, or he's the guy that used to go out with Mary Stavin?

Nah Colin, no points.

To my observation, Larry's heritage is Mexican.

What he is, by his looks, and as per his Family Tree, part Cherokee.

I am not being facetious, just observant (and chatting, 'cause we all can).

There is absolutely zero evidence that the person in the picture is Morning Dove, she was Cherokee.
The picture is actually of a female from the Lakota tribe.
Another myth busted ( again ) in the Elvis world.

Doesn't take away the subject matter, though, that we were discussing, Elvis' Cherokee heritage.

I also recall reading that the photo was not correct, which does make sense, as the lady in the photo does not appear to have the Cherokee facial features.

Do you have any links, with regard to the photo, Tony, that is researched, that this is definitely not Morning Dove? (As I said, I agree with regard to this photo, that the lady does not look Cherokee).
