Ha ha ha !

Or they could have simply passed me the fivers the first time I requested them...

Yes, and they should have. What was the point of them asking you to use the cash machine? Complete nonsense!

An interesting video of a popular Swedish singer:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAq3b4NlnJ0

Nice voice !

Mind you, I'm biased !

Her song shares a title with a different one which Elvis did !

A pic of Elvis appears [briefly] in the video.

Miriam & I share the same surname, & wer'e actually related !

[Her dad, Roy is a first cousin of mine]

Nice. A point deducted for smoking. Swedish? How did that happen? I see on youtube there are a lot of her vids.

Not sure why EP makes an appearance.

Good luck to her, it seems she's been around for a while.

My Dad's brother, Tom had a son Roy who met Olti, a Swedish girl, on holiday in Spain.

They went to Sweden together & married.

Miriam Bryant, the performer, is their daughter, who was born in 1991.

Their reasoning ?

"Rock’n’roll is not defined by any one genre".

If that's the case, what's the point of having separate Halls of Fame for the various genres ?

The R&RHOF has been a joke from the start, and it's run by a bunch of pretentious clowns.

"Rock's Highest Honor", says the website. You gotta laugh.

God bless Larry Williams, Link Wray, Jack Scott, Billy Riley and all the great rockin' geniuses who will never join a list of inductees which inckudes ABBA, Madonna, Miles Davis and Genesis.

I have noted in red the numbers I see. Shouldn't we all see the same numbers ?

Quite a mystery !

I see. That must be the explanation. I'm a little lazy about clearing my caché, because it kinda distorts my configurations. I only do it for Christmas, in order to see the Phoenix snow.

The song 'I Have Nothing' sung by Whitney Houston in 'The Bodyguard' film was co-written by Linda Thompson with her husband & was inspired by her time with Elvis.

Interested in UFO's ?

You're out-of-date !

The current term is "Unidentified Aerial Phenomena" (UAP) !

So there !

"Flying saucer" sounds even older than "UFO".

Approached by a young woman in the shopping centre the other day.

She thrust a little card into my hands asking:

"Do you believe in god ?"

"No !"

As I walked on, she shouted:

"Jesus loves you anyway - & I'll pray for you !"

Well, thanks for nothing !

The card read:

Jesus Booklet - 001.jpg
Jesus Booklet [2].JPG
Jesus Booklet - 002.jpg

Hmmmm.... Although it's nice to get a personal message, & a signed one at that, I must take issue with it.

He reckons he's come 'from heaven to earth' to meet me personally [must have been out that day].

And this 'judgement for your sins' would have been made by his camp, wouldn't it ?

Would have been much simpler to just stop it rather than have 'taken that punishment for you by dying on a cross'.

Not dying permanently, of course, just for a couple of days.

And if his 'dying' absolved us of our sins, why is he now promising to 'forgive' us ?

What a load of crap.
