The 'cover' mentioned was an excruciating version of "Can't Help Falling in Love".

The lyrics quoted are from "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels" a 1952 country song written by J. D. "Jay" Miller, and originally
recorded by Kitty Wells.
It was an answer song to the Hank Thompson hit "The Wild Side of Life."

I cannot watch it a second time, Colin, to watch again to observe, too much pain for the gymnast, poor thing, I really feel for her. She probably overstepped before she jumped.

Well, certainly a misjudgement of some kind... it left her with two broken legs.
