Something wrong there ?

NB - The 'Hollywood' sign features in the Baz Lurhmann film 'Elvis'.

Yes, they got it a bit wrong. The sign started falling apart and they repaired it and changed it to Hollywood in 1949, which was a fantastic year as it was the year someone very close to me was born.

Eventually it started deteriorating again and it was restored in 1978.

Yes !

Erected in 1923, the 'Hollywoodland' sign was reduced to the simple 'Hollywood' in 1949.

What happened in 1978 was a refurbishment.

It sure looked tatty in the 'Elvis' film !

The Date is wrong!
And the bottom left photo, the short guy in the middle is Harold E. Knox not Edward Small.

And it should be "Emory Gordy", not "Emery Gordy".

Them folks sure like to keep traditions alive.

Didn't know they remarried on May 1st, 1973... Nice try, Priscilla! But this ceremony would have had to take place another 5 months and at least 8 days later in order to be able to bear the title of a "widow" without a doubt ;)
(Since I know the controversial discussion among us fans very well and just in case the above could be misunderstood despite the smileys: I'm just kidding here!)

I didn't know that "All Shook Up" and "Love me Tender" were performed during the Aloha show too... and all these years EPE have been editing them out and hiding this footage from us...

The cover of Ain't That A Shame didn't do very well, although the covers of Blackwell's songs did better.

John Hagney, the author of that piece, is a poor ignorant, but he is apparently allowed to write stuff.

That's the main error.

Here's on I found on ebay.

The back cover has more than just one error.

Enjoy.
