It´s interesting though, that in all USA artwork for the movie, as well as in nearly every country in the world, Elvis wears a red shirt. One of only a few exceptions is the French poster, in which his shirt is blue.
Could there have been two identical shirts used in the film, one in red, one in blue? And that the photo used for the auction was ´simply´ a b/w photo of Elvis wearing the blue one instead of the corresponding red version?

It was a dirty job, but someone had to do it ...

I believe this is the red shirt that was sold in auction, and indeed worn in the movie. But only for a few seconds. The blue version was worn for a long time in the film.

Plus it was also on the backcover of the Do The Clam single.

Well done Bob, so the red shirt was less sweaty!

Hey Colin, there was a red shirt after all.

Well, yes !

Well spotted, Bob !

In the auction, they slipped up by showing a black-and-white photo of the blue one !

Yes !

No such scene exists !

When he sings Dominic we see a couple of rather tasty young Native American women, in the process of getting their kit off !

Not a scene I want to 'forget' !

Well done, John !
