That would be about right. Max was very successful and popular here, he had a lot of hits and a lot of "SingalongaMax" and "Sing Along With Max" hit albums back in the 70s. He was also a decent actor and he had TV specials and hosted TV game shows.

Max was a Londoner and he always had that strong south (sarf) London accent. He was one of those entertainers that was popular for years with all ages.
