Next day, the surgery rang to explain they were sending a text with a link.

Clicked on the link & followed instructions which included taking close up & distance photo of the problem area using the phone & clicking 'send'.

That evening the doctor rang me to tell me he'd made a diagnosis & prescribed some antibiotic steroid cream which I could collect from the chemist today !

Such service !

Modern life can be good !

Yeah but... don't you miss the closeness of a doctor... of a live doctor ?

Now you may have to stick the finger where the sun don't shine, and then send them the video.

This coronavirus thing is becoming the excuse for a lot of unrelated things.

The latest stupidity in Spain is that certain regions are forbidding smoking... in the street, in the open air. They say smokers breath heavily while smoking and this may increase the risk of transmissions.

I gave up smoking three years ago, but I'm feeling tempted to become a smoker again just to go against this crap.

Well, yes, but it's such a drawn out rigmarole to get an appointment with one !

This was all set up, diagnosed, medication prescribed, collected & treatment started in 2 days !

Wasn't sure where to put this, but here goes anyway.

I've been reading about a huge collision between two black holes which has 'rattled' our planet.

Here's the BBC report:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-53993937

What worries me is that the effects of this cataclysmic event have taken 7 billion years to reach us !

That must mean that an even bigger event may have already happened.

An event so huge that it is destroying the whole universe !

We just haven't felt the effects yet !

The point is, should I have renewed my yearly subscription to Elvis - The Man & His Music ?

This was odd:

Just posted a short video, which I shot in 1989, on a local Facebook group, showing parts of Gravesend town.

Some buildings, like a multi-storey car park, are not there today.

There wasn't much on the audio, so I added some music [Stranger in my Own Home Town] which I thought was kinda apt.

Promptly got this notification:

Facebook - Audio Muted.JPG

Didn't know 146 different countries could even access it !

The audio still plays here so the UK can't be on the list !

Strange !

I've had similar messages for videos I've posted on FB and youtube where I've used copyright music.

It's OK. I now send people the movies if they have copyright material in them. If not, then it's not a problem on youtube or FB.

My carer finally agreed to catalogue my collection of vinyl albums.

Honestly, the times I've told her she must wear white gloves when handling them !
