R.I.P. Jim Steinman

Jim Steinman, who wrote many hits for Meatloaf, and several other artists, has passed away of kidney failure after being ill for some time.

Bummer. His music for Bat Out of Hell I & II is terrific.

His solo album "Bad for Good" has some terrific material Such tragedy that Jim was not a good singer and decided to do the songs himself when Meat Loaf lost his voice.
