R.I.P. Bobby Ball

Postby John » Thu Oct 29, 2020 12:59 pm

Sad to see that Bobby has passed away from Covid. He was a very funny man as part of the Cannon and Ball duo and also as a solo actor, particularly as Frank in Not Going Out.

I liked him in Not Going Out too.

Have they said he died of covid or with it?

That doesn't really say he died of covid though does it?

He could have had a heart attack, stroke, cancer, or run over by a bus whilst also having covid.

You could look it up for yourself.

His death comes after the actor and comedian tested positive for Covid-19.

Ball's manager Phil Dale announced "with great personal sadness" that the comedy actor died at Blackpool Victoria Hospital on Wednesday evening. He said Ball was admitted for tests due to breathing problems.

"At first it was thought to be a chest infection but a test proved positive for Covid-19," he said in a statement.

Looks like another victim of Covid-19.

What a sad loss.
