Just a quick update....yesterday i finished my 4th round of chemotherapy and 20th session of radiotherapy.I now only have 1 round of Chemotherapy and 3 sessions of radiotherapy to go.Should soon start to feel better and well enough to have the surgery in mid November,i hav gained another 4Lb in a week and been to the gym regularly.I will be happy to ring the end of treatment bell on the 23rd.

Today i had a meeting with the surgeon who is performing my Oesophagectomy(Removal of the gullet)and was told the op will take place in early December after the UK lockdown is lifted so fingers crossed for an early December surgery!

I know i asked before, but how about making the topic a 6 week 'sticky' so that ken will not have any troubles searching for and adding to the topic as and when he's able to ?. I had to scroll back to three pages in order to found it.
