I scored 67% and according to that site I am an expert and scored better than 8% of the quizzers.
I think some cheated with looking online while doing the quiz.
But maybe not.

James Byron Dean - US actor.
He is remembered as a cultural icon of teenage disillusionment and social estrangement, as expressed in the title of his most celebrated film, Rebel Without a Cause (1955), in which he starred as troubled teenager Jim Stark.
The other two roles that defined his stardom were loner Cal Trask in East of Eden (1955) and surly ranch hand Jett Rink in Giant (1956).

After his death in a car crash on September 30, 1955, he became the first actor to receive a posthumous Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his role in East of Eden.
Upon receiving a second nomination for his role in Giant the following year, Dean became the only actor to have had two posthumous acting nominations.
In 1999, the American Film Institute ranked him the 18th best male movie star of Golden Age Hollywood in AFI's 100 Years...100 Stars list.
February 8, 1931 – September 30, 1955

It must be an age thing, I was just into my teenage years when James Dean died & Elvis hit the scene !

For my generation, the two 'heroes' of the day !

The 'heroines' were Marilyn Monroe & Brigitte Bardot !

I was just in California and made a visit to the site of the crash. I was quite underwhelmed by the area. It’s a busy intersection and you can see how things possibly transpired.
I came to it from the same direction as Turnipseed the fellow who caused the crash. Because I was looking left to merge with traffic I missed the ‘memorial’ to the right on a fence of a ranch. I drive a few miles craning my neck for signs of anything before my go’s announced to do a u-turn. I went to a rest area and found a series of notice boards with pictures and copies of the crash reports.
Then I went back to the site. If there is a plaque or anything I missed it, as I walked the length of fence. There were all manner of items placed in tribute. From photos to beer bottle to Bras, it just to me look like a collection of trash. It seemed so not befitting the legend that is James Dean.
