I think they think it'll last at least another 10 years. Or they don't care and just wanted to do this instead. Other than my "wrap this up in 10 with the complete 1969 sessions" idea, I don't really get why this was done so poorly.

If you're (or for anyone that's) considering getting this, that's up to you - but I personally wouldn't reward this kind of thing with a purchase unless you don't have the other 3 FTD sets. There will be a few places online where you can legally purchase the missing tracks in Wav format, and I'll be doing that. It all goes in my computer for sorting eventually, anyway.

In 10 years from now, me think, Ernst Jorgensen & Roger Semon will be retired and physical cds won´t exist anymore….. ;).

In 10 years time quite a few of us may not be around. How will we access these recordings then?

The technology may already be there.

I don't think he was fictional, but the rest of his story was.

A historical itinerant rabbi called Jesus might have existed back then, but contemporary evidence is scant.

Do you think we were "planted" here by humanoids from another galaxy, and on some other planet light years
away there is another planet like ours with their own version of Elvis, and colonel parker, and his record company
is holding back outtakes?

Or was it all by one huge "chance".?

Scientists haven't discovered what caused the origin of life on earth.

They are working on it.

There could be life forms other than ours in the cosmos, it's a big place.

Much better to admit that we don't know these things yet, rather than jumping to a supernatural solution.

We haven't arrived at the way we are by 'one huge chance' - our environment has shaped our evolution over a long, long time.

Were you round then? I heard tell he could walk on water, he did things with fishes and loaves, he made the lame dance, he raised the dead, and could turn water into wine. That was some party.

Just think, if he had the power & could cure lepers & make the lame walk, why didn't he do that for all ?

And not just the tiny handful he met then.

Sounds a tad perverse to me.

It works kinda like this.

You have to be a deserving and good person to get special treatment.

Remember the story of how Santa claus only gave out gifts to the girls and boys who had been good girls and boys through out the year.

You had to be good, you had to have faith, and you had to be humble enough to ask to be cured.

If you are a terrible sinful person, then you ain't getting anything.

It's a great lesson to teach your kids too.

If you grow up to be a smart mouth, disrespectful, selfish, etc, and you were given the same nice treatment
from your parents when your brother was sweet, respectful, generous, etc, then being good would have no reward.

That's strange, there are millions of good, 'humble' believers who suffer from the ravages of cancer without getting cured.

And, likewise, wicked ones whose disease goes into remission & they get better.

How does this god of yours select those for a cure & those not worthy ?

Or maybe he doesn't exist & it's just luck-of-the-draw ?

I know we don't want to get into a religious discussion on this forum.

I just look at all the planets and how plain they all look, and then there is this planet which early on
was just a big blue ball of water, until seismic activity created land.
It just seems that there is just too much complicated stuff going on here that it could just happen by chance.

And even if we go with the theory of the bible and God and Jesus are all made up, then what guide would we have to live our lives.

Let's say early man decided we need to write up a book to show humans how to live and love harmoniously or else we will
end up killing each other and going extinct. Even if the bible was a piece of fiction, it has so many good lessons on how
to be good in this world and live life in a loving way. If there was no thought of God or the bible, humans would just live in chaos and not care about anything. I have another theory as well.

What do you think happens when we die? Just gone and never to be heard from again, or maybe we are not physical beings at all....maybe we
are spirit beings, and this physical life is just a temporary thing. Don't you ever feel spiritual?

Why not ? When there isn't a scientific explanation yet, it's the easy option to fall back on a supernatural one.
And even if we go with the theory of the bible and God and Jesus are all made up, then what guide would we have to live our lives.
We are social mammals & as such we have to live by certain standards of behaviour or our society wouldn't thrive & flourish.
We don't need a book to tell us what our morals should be. And certainly not one with such dodgy morals as the bible, which supports genocide & slavery.

Let's say early man decided we need to write up a book to show humans how to live and love harmoniously or else we will

What is so wrong with us returning to the state of non-existence that we had for billions of years before we were born ?
I don't know what you mean by 'spiritual' in this context.
