Oh God, that's a sensational record too.
"Trouble Bound" has shades of "Heartbreak Hotel". It's a wonderful recording. "Rock With Me Baby" is one of those records that define rockabilly music. By the way, it was recently established that the latter features two lead guitars and two slap basses playing at the same time. Really unique, very intense sound, especially during the two solos.
Funnily, for many years an alternate take of "Rock With Me Baby" was used, mainly by Charly Records, as being the master. When Bear Family took over the Sun catalog, they were very careful in releasing the correct masters (there were other examples too). Ironically, when they compiled the outtakes set on Riley, they forgot to include the one that had been around for ages as the master, which was also absent from the earlier Riley set on Bear Family. Now, that take is only available on out-of-print releases, and most likely will live in the Twilight Zone forever.
We can hear it on YouTube :

I guess the above is just a single disc culled from that 2 cd set.

He was working sessions on the west coast at the time. Wow! That's new to me. Great little song that is.

Yes, I haven't delved into that period of Riley's career, but it seems he also recorded with The Beach Boys and Ricky Nelson, among others.
In fact, there's that Sonny Burgess instrumental release from 1958, "Itchy" / "Thunderbird" (Sun 304). where Riley and Burgess share the spotlight playing harmonica and guitar, respectively.
