Buying vinyl

Postby Sm1975sm » Tue Apr 06, 2021 10:43 am

Hi people. I just bought the new set “From Elvis in Nashville” and it’s just great. I’m looking to buy specefic records but concerned about sound quality cause there’s a lot of resellers . My set are RCA labeled which are reissued by Sony.

My question is where you buy your vinyl (good sound quality)?

Thanks

Personally, I'd suggest sticking to those who play-grade wherever you can. Sellers who rely on visuals often sell duds.

I appreciate that second hand retailers can't play check everything because it's too time consuming, but over and above a certain amount of money there should be play assurance.

Goldmine grading system is nonsense as well, with real misuse of common every day language. A "Good" piece of vinyl is nothing of the sort.
