1970 'The Wonder Of You' RCA UK demo.

There's a fun story behind this one.
I saw it on line at an independent record shop, but it was a bit overpriced for me.
I called the store for a little 'banter and a barter' to see if I could get a deal, but they weren't for doing anything.
I said thanks, ok I'll forget it, but nice talking to you, and as I was about to hang up the guy said it was a fair price and jokingly remarked that I'd have to know someone who was on the record for any kind of a discount, and they're all dead!
I said 'Are you serious?' and he said yes.
He was in front of his computer so I asked him for his email address so I could send him something, he gave it to me and off went an email with a picture of myself and James Burton.
Clearly James is not dead, I know him, AND he's on the record !
So, being a man of his word I got a discount off, agreed the price, which was the maximum I was willing to pay, and now it's mine. :)

My dad is certain that my granddad had a test promo of one of the mid-/late-70s singles, I think it was My Boy, on white label but I now have my granddad's collection and I cant find it. Everything else my dad has said my granddad had he was correct so I don't doubt him.

If it was a white label I suspect it might have been a foreign promo, unless it was 'I Can Help' from the 80's?
The Japanese also have a few white labels.
