Is there a big interest in vinyl on this board?

Would you like to see a dedicated section?

In those days there are a handful of vinyl collectors only; for me it's not interesting. I don't collect vinyl any longer.
I don't think fans are interested in Tutti frutti 78 rpm promo from Argentina etc. In case you're interested go on E-bay or auctions etc.

To see, to talk about, probably, if there's enough interest.

Spinout - LP from Taiwan (inferior quality like all LP's from Far East).

I would like to see some good reviews of LPs. I know it is a dying medium, but the sounds take me back.

Like I thought John, us vinyl nerds are a minority in this digital download era.

Looks like it, although if we had a dedicated section, it might liven up. Members only need to show their interest and I will set it up. I've dragged that old horse up to the water.......

I used to collect US, UK and German 45s and I own a fine collection of first issue US and German LPs.
I spin an original vinyl once in a while but I do not spend budget on vinyl anymore. I am fine with my collection and the family budget does not allow me to invest the amounts I used to spend.

I still have all the records I bought in the 80s and occasionally I buy US pressings if I come across them. I love going to recordfairs (remember those? I was supposed to go in April :( )singles and EPs are very affordable, even the rarer ones, and they are so much nicer to have than CDs or god forbid downloads. I rarely buy new vinyl though there are some very nice releases out there. I think a vinyl section is a great idea.
Without a song the road would never bend
