The Titles Will Tell

Postby John » Sat Jul 11, 2015 12:11 pm

Recorded by Barbara Pitman for Sun in 1957 but not released till 2002.

Elvis did a home recording in Bad Nauheim in 1959 which was originally wrongly named Number Eight.

Barbara Pittman was a childhood friend of Elvis.

He introduced her to Sam Phillips & Sun Records.

She sang on the demo of Playing For Keeps for Elvis.

Charlie Underwood, the author of the song, was friends with Elvis.
