The version I remember was the Nat King Cole one !

It got loads of radio play in 1950, but that was before we had record charts !

The only UK chart entry we got was the 'rockabilly' version by Conway Twitty which went to No.5 in 1959.

Another 'rockabilly' version was by Carl Mann the same year, but it didn't chart in the UK [if it was even released here].

When we first got the Elvis informal 1958 recording of the song on the 1983 album: A Legendary Performer Vol.4,
I was surprised he sang it in the the original 'romantic' style rather than the later 'rocked up' versions !
