I like connie Frances version of this song. I have not heard the version by Ernesto I imagine its a powerul one.

Librace, Did a great piano version, I think In 60s .

Seriously, nothing beats the late Roy Clerk. I heard this on TV a million years ago, and I was stunned.

Wow, these versions capture one's heart to have to move to them.

Sharp, focussed, strong, so much feeling, brilliant. I can imagine the Spanish dancers, being truly grounded in their dance, dancing the Flamenco.

According to Wiki, the melody that forms the basis of "Malagueña" was not of Lecuona's invention. It can be heard in 19th century American composer Louis Moreau Gottschalk's solo piano composition "Souvenirs d'Andalouise."
