Harbour lights

Postby colonel snow » Tue Aug 30, 2016 9:13 pm

I discovered an early recording by Bram Martin & his Band with vocal by Gene Crowley on Regal-Zonophone MR 2353.
I found a date from 4 february 1937 for this record but it's unclear if this is the date of release or date of recording. When it's the date of release this version is older then the version by Roy Fox (recorded 29 january 1937); otherwise the Roy Fox version is the original until now.

On Youtube there's clip taken from a German 78 rpm. The clip only can be seen on Youtube. The "owner" has switched off the button for playing elsewhere.

When I uploaded and played the video on this forum for the first time I got a message that it couldn't be played here.
At any case it's finally here. Thanks John.

You're right, it can't be played as a direct link. I downloaded it and re-uploaded it. Thanks for the link in the first place.
