Yes, it would seem that 'Leon' has used the opening credits & edited in some other bits with the 'new' audio added.

As far as I know, Charro was the only Elvis movie that was made into a book. The first edition paperback sold for 60 cents and came out in 1969 around the same time as the movie.

Here is a later edition, probably around 1974. This time the price was $1.75.

Another edition. My guess that this would have come out in the mid 1980's. The price was $2.25.

Well,
My first ever post on a forum...
I own a couple of Italian Posters.They came in a folder which says 10 soggetti 50x70.
I assume this means that there are 10 different posters.
Searched the internet for a long time and found pictures of 8

Would like to know if anybody knows what the 9th and 10th poster look like.Pictures?

I also want to buy the posters that i am missing, I have found 3 now, but can't find the rest of them on ebay. Are there some good sites or shops (preferably in europe,because of increased cost of shipping and taxes these days) where I can buy them?
I'm from the Netherlands.

Does anybody know where I can find more information on poster releases?Like how many were released in what country etc.
Is there a book I should buy?
I'm new to the poster game.

I was up at the Talking Pictures HQ this morning. They show a few Elvis films and said that they always get good viewing figures for these, which are normally shown on a Sunday afternoon..

I'd previously asked them if they could get hold of Charro to show in its entirety, but today they confirmed they would not be showing this as it doesn't fit in with their family viewing policy. It has too much violence, and the nude scene is not suitable for Sunday afternoon viewing. They could show it late in the evening on a weekday, but would be unlikely to get the audience to make it worthwhile. Apparently they have been offered it, but the other thing is it's too expensive to lease.

Just thought you'd like to know.
