Girl Happy French poster

The French movie poster for Elvis Presley’s 1965 film, Girl Happy, features a wonderful illustration of our man in his blue velour pullover caught mid-dance step, perhaps distracted by the bevy of surfing beauties all around him. Front and center among the women is co-star Shelley Fabares, though wisely not in a surfing stance due to the lovely pumps she chose to go with her bikini. An excellent example of the variety of artwork available in foreign movie posters promoting Elvis’ films. The poster measures 32 by 23 inches (81.28 x 58.42 cm), is framed to dimensions of 35 by 26 inches (88.9 x 66.04 cm).
