Because elvis loved Tom very, very much.

Tom had a place in Weybridge, which is a very wealthy area. John Lennon, Gilbert O'Sullivan, Engelbert Humperdinck and many other celebrities lived there. It was part of my area as a sales rep in the mid 70s and I used to park up outside their houses at lunchtimes and eat my sandwich. There was security, but no one ever stopped me or questioned why I was there, which was, to visit the tennis club to try and get their business.

Now I can't be 100% sure, but I think I saw him playing tennis one time against this slightly heavy set guy with big sideburns and a white jumpsuit.

Sounds like elvis.
He visited a car dealer with his jumpsuit.
Why not wearing one while playing tennis with his best friend and musically superior english colleague?

I am sure elvis did not hold the last note on "huh huh", as he was lazy doing such things.
And surely was imitating the style Tom played tennis.
