Description from Heritage Auctions:

Elvis Presley-Related Script from "Tickle Me." Allied Artists, 1965. No covers, ownership signature of "Jon Taurog" (son of the film's director, Norman Taurog), who evidently worked on the set, penciled on first page in upper right corner , screenplay by Elwood Ullman and Edward Bernds, dated "September 23, 1964," approximately 117 pages, with numerous colored script change pages throughout,heavily annotated in blue ballpoint ink, blue felt-tip ink, or pencil throughout; from the film that garnered Elvis a Golden Laurel Award for best 'Musical Performance, Male.'

Tickle Me was Elvis’ only film with Allied Artists and made over $5 million at the box office, saving the production company from bankruptcy while also helping to relieve Elvis of an IRS debt. The movie was shot in just over 20 days and the soundtrack was made up of previously recorded, unpublished songs. Elvis won the Laurel Award for Best Male Actor in a Musical for his role in the film.

If you scroll back, you'll see it was Suspicious Minds who said it, who I quoted. He in the meantime, got his information from Graceland Auctions, to which he has included a link in his post.

I know nothing about what Elvis may or may not have owed the IRS.

I doubt very much that elvis owed the IRS anything or had a debt to them at any point in his life.
He paid his taxes at any time (even more than he should have).

Probably paid them out of Elvis' share of the earnings !

Anyhow we agree that it is not possible that elvis owed the IRS anything at any point.
