RIP Lisa Marie. A shock to most of us I assume.

It's always sad to see young(ish) people go, but not all together surprising.

Well, to be honest, unless you know someone has a terminal illness or a terrible history a substance abuse, it still is surprising.

At least to me.

She did have a long period of substance abuse. on top of which she lost her father, and son, she lost her money, she was married to Michael Jackson and Nicholas Cage, and her ex from her last marriage was still trying to get money from her. It all adds up.

Tell me about it, having dead bodies in your back garden really affects the value... will they keep the legacy alive? I couldn't blame them if they sold everything and walked away - I don't think they should, but the stress of being a Presley. They will always be "Elvis Presleys Granddaughters", living in th shadow of somebody they never even met.Some of us have probably met him more than they have. They need their lives. but if the rights to the CBS special are for sale... Im buying...

Oh, it was surely not my intention to upset anyone here. To be honest I was already a bit unsure about posting it, and it was definitely a mistake not to comment on it. So it's gone now... Spot the error ! Addendum - They got the year of her death wrong.

Interesting to note that, although divorce proceedings were started in 2016, she & Michael Lockwood were still married when she died.
