Excellent. That's 4 or so hours I'll be doing something more worthwhile by not listening to that.

yes, that is quite a dissapointment.

Is this what we've come to?
Is there nothing more left of the good stuff?
What is he holding back is my question?

I don't believe Ernst is holding anything back. The good remaining soundboards are probably in the hands of private collectors or with the Bruce Jackson estate.

I'm happy to have 2 new unreleased in any form soundboards.

Memphis is a good show b ut i guess most of us already have a good sounding CD. More concerts from the period with no unusual songs don't have much appeal

There was pressure over at the other forum for FTD to release the Memphis show, so maybe that influenced the decision. Of course the show has been available on bootleg for many years now, so I guess they felt obliged to include something new too.

Unfortunately though, it would appear that apart from the 1976 soundboards there isn't much left, and I guess we all know what to expect from these shows before we've even heard them.

I'm not too sure about the photoshopped image of Elvis on the CD sleeve either. It would be interesting to see the original photo, as it looks like they have done some work on Elvis' face.

Of course we all have the Memphis show bootleg but the other 2 concerts I have never heard on soundboard.
I will buy this.

I’ll be picking it up, I don’t do bootlegs so all of these are new to me. Looking forward to hearing another home coming show.

We still have to get the Blue Hawaii material in full, but of course there are a few tracks missing, so who knows what's going to happen there?

Yep. I'll take any studio recordings over any soundboard, any day, and the sooner the better.

i'm glad the memphis show is getting released by ftd.
its one of my favorites from '76.
but personaly...i don't like the move to 3 and 4 cd sets.
a single disc at $29.98 is enough...3d set is $39.98....now 4d.
its getting harder to keep up.
i miss the single disc releases.
the memphis show in my opinion...his last home town performance...shoulda got the stand alone treatment.
oh well.
nuttin' i can do about it...except save up.
just wait.
soon the ftd concert releases will be 5d.
