Yes, I saw that. Thank you.

He may be an authority in some fields, but I'm sure there's other, more able, people who could have written the notes.

Also, the guy's strong connections with the RRHOF are not a good credential at all.

Rock and roll is light years away from all them pedantic scholars of this world.

I'll console myself by buying the Revolver box set by The Beatles which comes out in 12 days.

Standard CD, Deluxe 2CD, Deluxe 5CD, Vinyl LP or Dlx. 4LP + 7'' Single? Oh, so much unknown variety. Ranging from 18€ to 190€, so there is something for every purse... Hey beloved record label execs: That's what you get, when you upset Elvis fans: They run over to the enemy

Now excuse me, I've to listen to my old copy of the Revolver album right now...

Yes, me too. I'm getting the 2-CD set.

I can't wait until they release "A Hard Day's Night".

I've already got all the other boxes apart from Let It Be, which I got as as a free download.

Its all about royalties for the compositions of songs that would be paid for a physical release in 2022 ( within 50 years). In 2023 this is (partly) expired. The same for the FTD book including audio which now is planned for release, mid-2023.

The audio of the Legacy set will be available on December 2 through streaming services (Apple Music, Spotify, etc.)

Isn't it also about who recorded what and who owns what? There were two companies involved.

Yes maybe Sony doesnt have the Buffalo recording and want to use the MGM source on the FTD release..…and there is the dispute.
I for one dont care at all for the Buffalo rehearsal…poor sound with a lots of microphone overload/distortion.

Thanks Robbo.

Had a quick dip into them and they sound good.

Personally I don't fully listen to these samples as I like to hear the whole thing when it's released.

Listened to some tracks from all of the 4 concerts (its available on the internet already).

What a huge disappointment. While the Aloha From Hawaii from Matt Ross-Spang is a delight to hear, this EOT isn't my cup of tea. Ive compared it to the Amiga box, the difference is huge, in favor of the Amiga set.

The Amiga set was a big disappointment to me and not to mention the high price due to a huge book that I dont care much for.
At least Hampton is complete and in stereo for the first time ever on the new OT set.
Not a big fan of Matt Ross-Spang previously work…..a bit of hit&miss.
I havent heard this one yet(will tomorrow) but Aloha have never been a good Elvis show IMO,no mix can change that.
