At last one good upcoming elvis release,last ones was the two Nashville boxes.
(yep,dont care about soundboards and book/cd releases from FTD,oh and I also dont buy Sessions content releases up to 1968-so saved a lot of money for many years)

Amazon has now removed the offer, they were probably called off. According to Elvis Day By Day the set had a price-tag of $109 (~107€), well that would be more expensive than the "Elvis Live 1969" box set that contained 11 CDs... I don't know what to make of it yet, I guess it all depends on the content...

I think it was a placeholder which wasn't meant to be seen yet so they removed it.

I wonder if one of the six cds will be the originally planned Standing Room LP which was slated to be issued to tie into the movie. They could also include some outtakes on that disc.

One would think FTD is saving most of the mock rehearsals for the FTD on tour box set release.

I shudder to think about the editing Ernst will employ to the rehearsals.

I am a completist....so I want the complete rehearsal.

Since he finally caved on releasing complete studio sessions, I certainly hope
he will do the same with the rehearsals.

And a mock session is still a session to me.

Totally agree, those were great shows. I love the first live versions of burning love. San Antonio and Greensboro I think.

There will be little interest when it comes out on the Legacy label.
There is simply no market for Elvis Presley live 1972.
The latest bio-pic will not help either.
The release is planned for November.
The hype has been fade away by November.
It would be the most obvious to release it on the FTD label.

The Baz Lurhmann film is an overwhelming success & has made the general public interested in anything 'Elvis' again !

This could soon lead to some quite unexpected releases.

I went into a local department store a couple of days ago. The guy in the music section had loads of vinyl, including a big box of Elvis LPs and some EPs. These were all old releases. Included amongst them was a bootleg sleeve but no record and some EP sleeves without records.. I asked the manager why and he said that they can't get enough Elvis at the moment. He also said that he was on the lookout for more bootleg LPs. I have sent him my list of LPs for sale.

thanks to KieranJames on the other forum, the tracklistings can be seen on itunes (including their running time) Hampton roads will be complete and the unreleased never been to spain included. Richmond also seems to have lawdy miss clawdy complete for the first time
