I have a feeling lots of Elvis fans will be very disappointed.

You must be a clairvoyant because I am already disappointed.
Just like the Searcher, why do the studios spend tons of money on these productions when they
could go into the vaults and retrieve footage from 1970 and 1972 of the real thing.
It's already been filmed!!!!!!

It was less stylised that his previous work (but still stylish). It was produced with great attention to historical detail & definitely a had a lot of substance.
Because of this, i'm reserving judgement on the EP film until is released.

Absolutely! Because Luhrman began research for the film in 2014, including spending 18 months at the Graceland/EPE Archives, interviewing several people like Sam Bell (Elvis' friend in Tupelo) - you get the impression he wants to get it right. Let's hope he does

The whole area had changed and he got it mixed up.
I don't have time to go into this again, but
his memory is wrong.
I recall Tonys and I both agreed on this.
