Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2021

Postby John » Sat Dec 19, 2020 9:57 am

Here's wishing all of you a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year.

What a year 2020 has been. What more can I say other than I truly hope you and your dear ones will remain safe and healthy throughout 2021 and that you can avoid this terrible global threat to our lives? Let's hope we can soon return to some normality, but I fear it will be a while yet.

Once again, many thanks to our loyal members for their input to this tiny, but well formed forum. There are so many regular posters who contribute highly interesting information. I'm very grateful to them. The membership continues to grow very well, it would be nice if more people participated.

Many thanks to Jordan for all his help throughout the year. He always seems to be there when needed. I know Jordan has faced some challenges this year, so I hope these can be overcome in 2021.

Let's hope Colin's carers can continue to care for him and don't have to socially distance from him. That would be disastrous.

Merry Christmas folks.

Thank you, John. Same to you and all the "Phoenix" members - except to Walter, if he keeps posting stereo remixes of 50s tracks, and to those who post reversed and / or colourized photos.

Keep rockin'.

Thanks. Personally I just ignore all the stereo remix stuff. I'm not sure why anyone would want to do that.

Thanks, John !

I suppose 2021 has to be better than this lousy year !

Difficult to see it being any worse !

Here's wishing you all a happy, healthy & prosperous New Year !

BTW - My carer says thanks for the mention !

Keeping 'socially distant' isn't really an option, but we do wear protective gear at all times:

Having been placed into tier 3 only this morning, we're now going into tier 4 from midnight. This is scary stuff.

Sure is !

And there was me thinking that Kent's 'Level 3 Tier' was the highest !

Suddenly, we're thrust up into Tier 4 !

All my family's plans for me at Xmas have been thrown out now !

Thanks John, merry Christmas to all and you. Hopefully 2021 will bring us much more joy and latitude. We need some air, all of us! I, myself, sold my home where I lived for 21 years and ready to move on with a new love. 2021 will be a prosperous year, for me for sure.

I'm not accepting any 'Happy New Year' greetings this year.
You fellas fooled me with that one last time, look what happened!
I'll take the Merry Xmas and reciprocate though as there's a nice BIG bottle of Jack Daniels just waiting on me for Xmas eve.... I'm sure it will be very merry. ;)
