Elvis soon will have been dead longer than he was alive.

Postby PanzerMan1001 » Mon Feb 03, 2020 2:15 pm

If I did the math right, I think that on March 25, 2020, at 2:25 AM Central Time, it will have been 42 years, 221 days, 10 hours, and 55 minutes since Elvis died. This is his approximate lifespan. If you really wanted to be precise, then you have to consider your time zone. Regardless of the precise date, 42 years have passed since Elvis died, and it’s evident to most of us that Elvis’ legacy has long outlived him and proven most cynical 1950’s music critics wrong. So hey, maybe set an alarm, and when the time comes, pop on some tunes to celebrate the life of the man that brought joy to so many.

But this person has it down to the exact minute??? Do we know the exact minute Elvis was born?

I bet Tony has it down to the exact second.

Nano second, actually !

Do these calculations take into account the leap years ?

These will alter the number of days that have passed...

It will also be 60 years, I think, since Elvis's originally scheduled demob date ("A Date With Elvis") - give or take a day.
