If you really wanted to be precise, then you have to consider your time zone. Regardless of the precise date, 42 years have passed since Elvis died, and it’s evident to most of us that Elvis’ legacy has long outlived him and proven most cynical 1950’s music critics wrong. So hey, maybe set an alarm, and when the time comes, pop on some tunes to celebrate the life of the man that brought joy to so many.
